Correction

A confessional and intense bolero that explores the invisible suffering of perfectionism and relentless self-criticism. Through a dense, passionate melody, the track portrays the anguish of someone who constantly revises their own steps and issues emotional "erratas" (corrections) to the world, flowing into a manifesto of self-acceptance where "doing one's best" replaces the illusion of perfection.

Behind the Scenes: "Errata" was born from a playful take on the composer's own creative process, as he frequently finds himself adjusting and refining his lyrics. This obsession with perfection was expanded into an existential theme, drawing the portrait of someone who lives as their own executioner, trapped between the fear of making mistakes and the need to correct themselves at every step. The bolero format provides the necessary drama to turn this inner conflict into a beautiful lesson of liberation.

In my simplest act,
(En mi más simple acto,)
I suffer from my own judgment.
(Sufro con mi juzgamiento.)

It is a bad thing to achieve what I want,
(Malo es lograr lo que quiero,)

I am my own executioner.
(Soy yo mismo de mí verdugo.)

With the sword of certainty in hand,
(Con la espada de la certeza en puño)

I justify everything I stamp.
(Justifico todo aquello que cuño)

What I do, I redo on the spot,
(Lo que hago lo rehago en el acto)

I issue an Errata so I won't be mocked.
(Emito Errata para no ser burlado)

If I didn't do it, I suffer from the gap;
(Si no lo hice, sufro con el hiato;)

If I did it, I suffer from the crossed boundary.
(Si lo hice, con límite usurpado.)

Now I have made a decision
(Ahora tomé una decisión)

To fix my every step,
(De arreglar todo mi paso,)

Even though this scares me,
(Aunque esto me asuste,)

I ask everyone to forgive me.
(A todos pido que me disculpen.)

Of what I wrote, it is written.
(De lo que escribí, está escrito.)

Of everything I spoke, it came with good intentions.
(De todo lo que hablé, tuvo buena intención.)

If I didn't please, I acknowledge it;
(Si no agradé, lo registro;)

If I made a mistake, here is my correction.
(Si erré, va mi corrección.)

Understanding through this lens
(Entender con este recorte)

Is a compass for our lives:
(Para nuestra vida es un norte)

To know that "The Perfect" does not exist.
(Saber: no existe "Lo Perfecto".)

What matters is what is best done.
(Importante es lo mejor hecho.)
